The house was originally built about 70 years ago as a "forest recreation home" for children, and although it has been renovated from the ground up, it has retained this recreational character.
The hotel sees itself as an open process, a "work in progress" if you will. Little by little, for example, the garden is being extended, and in 2005 additional rooms were added through a building extension. This, too, demonstrates the spirit of variability and development that is lived and passed on by PROFESSIO.
There are 25 rooms with a total of 47 beds. The rooms are suitable for allergy sufferers and have shower or bath/WC and, in addition to modern comfort, numerous amenities for daily use. The rooms are all barrier-free, just as the restaurant and the large seminar room are easily accessible to all thanks to their ground-level layout.
The fact that the operators of the Hotel Grünwald manage the balancing act of acting in a way that is compatible with people and the environment on the one hand, without becoming narrow-minded on the other, perhaps also explains why this place is the ideal breeding ground - or stage - for our style of work.

The hotel with the private beach: With a length of almost 20 km, 4.7 km width and a depth of 128 m, Lake Starnberg is the second largest lake in Bavaria - only Lake Chiemsee has more water to offer.
